NNM&HC Tea Ceremony Class 茶道教室

Wednesday (5 classes)
Introductory Course: 10:30am to 12pm
Beginner Course: 1:30pm to 3pm
Fee: $100 / 5 classes (material, HST included)

Limited 8 students, Min 5 or class will be cancelled.
Japanese instruction. English speaking class is available.
Introductory: This class is appropriate for someone with no experience. Students will learn the basic of tea including how to walk in the tea room and how to drink tea.
Beginner: This course is for those desiring to learn more about tea fundamentals
Taiko for Youth and Adult 太鼓教室
Instructor: Shinobu Homma, Director of Chibi Taiko
Age: 15 years old and up
Sundays 1pm to 2pm
Fee: $40/ 4 sessions

You are advised to wear clothes and foot wear suitable for a physical activity. No jeans are permitted.
Beginner Class 1:
You will learn the basics of Taiko stance, stroke for the upright style and verbal notation.
By playing some drills you will get familiar with the above basics. Ultimately you will learn the main part of ‘Chibi Taiko’.
Beginner Class 2:
You will learn the basics of Taiko stance and stroke for the so called ‘Sukeroku-style’. In playing some drills you will practice and get familiar with the above style of basics. You will learn a song called ‘Renshu Taiko’.
